White Picket Gate at Residence in California

The family at this suburban California home was looking for an automated gate system that would match their existing fence and keep the children in the yard and away from the street.After doing some research, they hired Nicklaus Landscaping to have them install DuraGates Cantilever Sliding Gate Hardware. This cantilever system has enclosed carriage rollers and covers on the upper guides to avoid pinch points which is especially important when children are near. The gate was lightweight and the opening small, so Model CGS-250.8M was chosen.

The gate was automated using a BFT Deimos gate operator. Monitored gate edges were added for safety. A digital keypad was added for easy entry and a free exit wand was installed to open the gate when exiting the property.
