WOW, what a gate! This sliding gate, fabricated by Peter at Red Star Ironworks, is the epitome of a gate from a fairytale. The gate presents a grand entrance to the wooded drive leading to the resident's home. Definitely creative to say the least.
One will notice that the DuraGates hardware is virtually invisible drawing the eye to the beautiful stained glass floral design on the main gate. The gate was not overly heavy so the CGS-250.8M galvanized steel track model was used. Since the flowers of the gate extend past the frame, an ordinary top guide could not be used. Instead the monorail and a small roller keep the gate steady. This monorail can be seen if one looks closely toward the bottom of the gate. Thank you Peter for sending this photo.
