The owners of this Portsmouth, NH home needed a gate that fit in with the look and feel of their historic neighborhood. And they had limited space for the gate to open into, so traditional cantilever hardware wouldn’t work, and ground track hardware presents too many problems with ice and snow in the winter. They choose Granite State Gate Systems for the project because they had worked with them in the past and really appreciated their attention to detail, even on custom projects. And Granite State chose DuraGates because it solved both their problems. The bottom track hardware essentially disappears and doesn’t affect the look of the gate and the short tail section allowed them to build a solid, sturdy gate that fit within the property. They used the CGS-250.8M galvanized steel hardware with a steel gate frame with wooden pickets.
The gate was automated with an All-O-Matic SL100 gate operator because they needed a small footprint with plenty of power
